– Consistency

– Collective responsibility

PIP/RIP – Praise in Public / Reprimand in Private – the goal is to guide the individual not to embarrass them.

Building rapport and relationships – Give your time freely and expect nothing in return – in time and with persistence your reward can be a positive relationship.

Developing Self Regulation – Explicitly teach them to plan, monitor and reflect on their learning progress/behaviours/actions.
